I want a painting
Commisioned paintings are my favourite challenge. Tuning into the client´s life, direction and desiresinspires a multitude of scenes within me, which I then present to the client in my proposals during subsequent meetings. You have a unique opportunity to become part of the creative process.

Initial meeting
We talk through the concept, subject, style, technique and size. After the meeting we both let the ideas settle for a while.

Concept and sketches
A first concept takes shape and together we lock in the size, technique and colour palette. We also agree on a rough price and you see the first sketches.

Brief and painting
I put our agreement in writing along with an expected completion date. Then I paint, letting the process and our conversations guide me.

Handover
The most beautiful step for you is receiving the finished painting.

Terms and price
Payment is split into two parts, roughly half after the concept is approved and the rest at handover. As the artist I reserve the right to include the piece in my portfolio, unless we agree otherwise.
Price
The exact price of a work depends on many factors (size, artistic style, and others); as a rough guide, my large-format commissioned paintings range in price from 6,200 - 33,000 €.
